A workstation GPU that sold for less than $8,000 in pre-orders last year now carries a $16,000 suggested price, after Nvidia doubled the list price of its top professional card.
The RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell, a 96GB card built on the Blackwell architecture, is the flagship of Nvidia’s professional visualization lineup, aimed at AI development workstations and rendering farms rather than gaming.
Tom’s Hardware reported the change, which landed roughly a year after the card’s pre-order window opened below $8,000.
The move echoes a wider repricing of graphics hardware this year. Professional cards compete with data center accelerators for the same Blackwell silicon and HBM allocations, and GPU prices have climbed across the market as AI demand keeps supply tight.
Nvidia has not commented on the price change.
