Jiangsu Xinde Semiconductor Technology cleared its Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing hearing this week, with Huatai Financial Holdings sponsoring the offer.
The numbers are modest and improving. Revenue for the four months to the end of April 2026 reached RMB 360M, up 17.4 percent year on year. The net loss narrowed to RMB 162M from RMB 164M a year earlier, and research spending came in at RMB 30M. Founded in September 2020, the company runs both traditional packaging and advanced assembly.
Its position is the interesting part. Frost and Sullivan ranked it seventh among Chinese general-purpose outsourced assembly and test providers by advanced packaging revenue for 2025, a 0.6 percent share. It holds 225 mainland patents and has filed three international applications covering package structures, methods, equipment and test systems.
A fraction of a percent sounds like nothing, and in a market dominated by ASE, Amkor and JCET it is. But advanced packaging has become the constraint on AI accelerators, and China’s domestic capacity is being built by dozens of firms of this size rather than a single champion.
That makes a listing test of appetite more than a verdict on the company. If public money backs the second and third tier of Chinese packagers, the aggregate capacity those firms create will matter more than any one balance sheet.
