ASM International told investors it expects revenue above €5.7B in 2027 at constant currencies, a figure it had originally attached to 2030. The July guidance sat at more than €4.6B, so the new number is roughly a quarter higher again, and it beat the €5.41B analysts polled by LSEG had modelled.

The Almere-based company, which supplies machines that grow films one atomic layer at a time, reported third-quarter sales of €1.16B against an estimate of €1.10B. Revenue rose 45 percent from a year earlier at constant currencies. For the current quarter it guides to €1.23B, plus or minus 5 percent, ahead of the €1.18B consensus.

Net income slipped about 20 percent year on year to €308M, a reminder that the order book and the bottom line are not moving at the same speed.

Michael Roeg of Degroof Petercam called it a triple beat, with revenue, the quarterly outlook and the annual outlook all coming in above expectations. Management said capacity remains tight across its customer base and that buyers are moving quickly to add output.
