Integration with Infineon’s Villach plant as a “One Virtual Fab” accelerates process and product qualification, allowing the company to flexibly capitalize on market opportunities, particularly in AI.

Chips produced in Dresden will serve efficient power delivery for AI data centers, alongside industrial and automotive applications such as wind turbines, solar systems, and software-defined vehicles. Intelligent switches that control loads and monitor current flow exemplify the energy-efficient, intelligent system solutions enabled by combining power semiconductors with analog/mixed-signal components.
The fab also sets new sustainability benchmarks: it requires no natural gas, reduces water consumption through closed-loop systems that recirculate approximately 90% of water, and recovers up to 45% of energy used.
