ChipAgents, a developer of agentic AI platforms for semiconductor engineering, has joined the AWS Partner Network to scale its purpose-built AI agents for complex chip design workflows.
Partnership details
ChipAgents announced its membership in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN), a global community of AWS partners that access programs, expertise, and infrastructure to build and market customer solutions. The partnership will leverage AWS’s secure cloud environment and Amazon Bedrock model serving capabilities to deploy ChipAgents’ multi-agent platform at scale.
“AI has enormous potential in semiconductor engineering, but the industry’s biggest challenges extend far beyond code generation,” said William Wang, CEO of ChipAgents. “Joining the AWS Partner Network will help us continue scaling our platform as we support semiconductor companies looking to improve engineering productivity and accelerate development cycles.”
Platform capabilities
ChipAgents develops AI agents specifically for semiconductor engineering workflows, not general-purpose coding assistants. The platform transforms specifications into production-ready RTL and verification assets, automates repetitive verification tasks, analyzes design and simulation data, and accelerates root-cause analysis for failing tests and complex hardware bugs.
As chip complexity increases, design and verification teams face larger designs, growing verification workloads, and compressed schedules. ChipAgents helps engineers reduce time spent manually searching logs, waveforms, and test failures, redirecting effort toward critical design challenges.
Key performance benchmarks
Internal benchmarks across customer engagements report significant productivity gains: 15x faster specification reading and comprehension, 240x reduction in formal assertion generation time, 100% code and functional coverage through formal verification, and 400x faster UVM environment generation.
“ChipAgents is helping our customers move into a new phase of agent-driven chip design,” said Erik Loen, General Manager of HiTech & AI Model Providers Segment at AWS. “The scale and elasticity of AWS and Amazon Bedrock help ChipAgents deliver autonomous, intelligent workflows that can significantly reduce average silicon design cycles.”
Forward outlook
ChipAgents will collaborate closely with AWS sellers and solutions architects, using AWS Marketplace and Bedrock to bring its solutions to more leading customers. As semiconductor engineering faces mounting complexity and tighter timelines, purpose-built AI agents that automate verification and debugging workflows represent a critical lever for maintaining design velocity and silicon quality at scale.
