Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company raised its full-year revenue growth forecast to 44 percent on October 15, after posting a sixth consecutive record quarterly profit.

Third-quarter revenue reached $46.72 billion, ahead of the company’s own guidance, while net profit climbed 68.7 percent from a year earlier to NT$763 billion. Earnings per share of NT$29.43 beat analyst estimates.

The company guided fourth-quarter revenue toward $54.3 billion, which would represent growth near 58 percent year over year. Management said demand for advanced nodes continues to run far ahead of available supply.

Two-nanometer production accounted for roughly 8 percent of wafer revenue in its first full quarter. Capacity expansion for that node weighed on gross margin, which slipped slightly from the prior quarter even as absolute profit set a record.

Capital spending for 2026 remains unchanged at up to $64 billion. Executives said the company is monitoring construction schedules and power availability at its overseas sites, where US datacenter capacity has become a gating factor.

Shares moved lower after the report despite the beat, as investors focused on margin pressure from the 2nm ramp and the cost of building out capacity in Arizona and Texas.
